Starting with Opening Day on September 14, signing-on and signing-off will be manged by our new software package, SailEvent, which replaces VisTab. Sailors can use their phones to sign on and get courses and the latest race information. Signing in and off in the clubhouse will continue with the SailEvent kiosk on the club tablet.

SailEvent's Sailor self-service makes it easy for competitors to enter events, receive race information and sign on and off the water – all via mobile phone. Sailors only need to create one account to access events run by any club using SailEvent.

SailEvent incorporates automatic alerts to remind sailors to tally on and off.

The use of SailEvent is mandatory for the coming season. Any boats that come to a race start line without having registered for SailEvent, or having not signed on, will be denied a result at the end of their race.
