At the heart of every Club are its volunteers. The Naval Point Club Lyttelton's sailing programme continues to excel with the enthusiasm and commitment from our volunteers. The ability to continue to deliver a first class and diverse sailing programme depends very much on the assistance and support of volunteers. Volunteering is a great way to keep yourself active and at the same time to enjoy the benefits of being a part of one of NewZealand's highly-regarded and friendliest sailing clubs. As the only all tide club in Canterbury, Naval Point hosts a wide range of sailing classes each week and is the venue for South Island, National and International events.
If spending a free afternoon or an early summer evening on Whakaraupo, in good company, performing a highly valued club service sounds good to you, our club office would love to hear from you. Our volunteers range from the dedicated who volunteer on a regular basis, to those who only volunteer once or twice a year. There is no requirement to volunteer a minimum number of times per annum.
